December 18, 2017: Tahoma Machining purchases a pair of Doosan Boring Mills
To Keep up with the oil and gas demand in the field of fracking, we have purchased two, five inch spindle boring mills to double our capacity for productions of fluid ends. With the ever fluctuating market of oil and gas, we needed to be better prepared to answer our customers demand for fracking equipment. These machines provide us that ability!
January 20, 2016: Tahoma Machining purchases a boring mill "ZX" head.
We are very excited to announce that with the purchase of our "ZX" head, Tahoma Machining now has the ability to machine custom shaped undercuts within large bores or even tapered bores with a 32 surface finish or better. This Unique tool mounts onto one of our boring mills and essentially provides lathe tool capabilities, but on a boring mill!
June 15, 2015: Tahoma Machining purchases brand new "Johnford BMC110 Boring Mill"
This state of the art machine tool provides Tahoma Engineered Solutions with the ability to efficiently machine sizable pieces of work by possessing an automatic tool changer, rotary table that can hold up to 15 tons, through tool coolant, large capacity memory control and a fully enclosed work area.
October 14, 2014: Tahoma Machining purchases brand new "YouJi" VTL.
Once again, we have answered the call of our customers. With our new VTL, we have the ability to turn parts up to 78" outside diameter. This CNC controlled machine tool has live tooling which will eliminate the need for excess handling of parts that can weigh up to 15,000 pounds. Through tool coolant, thread milling capabilities and high rpd with the drill spindle fills our larger diameter void for turning capacity.
November 17, 2014: Wayne Machine purchases brand new Haas DS-30 multi spindle lathe with a bar-feeder.
Our new DS-30 lathe is a live tool, dual spindle lathe with a bar-feeder for those "high production" jobs. Adding another live tool, dual spindle lathe makes us more competitive by cutting down on handling of turning work that requires multiple operations. Parts that would normally require two lathe operations and a mill op, can be done all in one operation with our new DS-30.
